Shine is a parent and toddler group (0-5 years) specifically for children with additional needs, either diagnosed or undiagnosed. The group was formed last September and is attracting a regular stream of families who we support. We meet on a Friday morning at St Andrews Methodist Church, Eastleigh. Shine transforms the church into a large playroom with toys, tunnels, ride ons, accessible craft and a large sensory gazebo. Siblings are most welcome. We ask for a small charge of 50p for everyone over the age of 1.
We are here to provide a safe, comfortable, calm and stimulating environment for your child and provide support to parents and carers.
For any enquiries or further information, please contact Angela at firstname.lastname@example.org or visit our Facebook page.
We have parking outside the front of the church. Access to the church is at street level, with step free access. Ground floor wheelchair accessible with ground floor toilets, and a wheelchair accessible toilet. Activities in the group are designed so that all children can access them. We have a quiet room where you can take your children to if they need somewhere quiet to go.
