The Southampton Regional Theology Forum of the Methodist Church are holding a seminar at Sarum College, Salisbury on Thursday, November 1.

There will be presentations from people involved with scholarship, research and innovation. There will also be plenty of opportunities for discussion. The benefit to the presenters is to refine their ideas with a group of practitioners; for the attendees it is to develop their thoughts on theological topics.

We are delighted to announce that the presenters at the next meeting are Revd. Drs Peter Howson and Ruth Midcalf. Peter has proposed the title will be: Saving the soul of a nation, examining the church in Germany post World War 2. Ruth will relate progress with her current PhD project on the Methodist catechism and its use. Again, this promises to be a very interesting meeting.

The meeting will start at 10.30, with refreshments available from 10 am. It will end with a sandwich lunch starting at 12.45 pm.

The following regular meeting will take place on Thursday, February 14 2019, also at Sarum College.

Please contact John Evans at if you would like to attend by Monday, October 22, and on any dietary requirements.
