Jon Hughes

I am the Local Pastor for Alresford. I have had a life long association with the Methodist Church as my father was a Methodist Minister. By profession I was a Civil Engineer, working the construction industry before retiring just as the first Covid lockdown began. I've been an accredited Local Preacher since 2009. I applied for the Local Pastor role having been 'nudged' to do so on three different occasions.

My wife and I have two grown up children who have flown the nest and set up home for themselves. I enjoy reading and watching most sport. If time permits, I may try taking up golf again or try to go swimming.
